Hi, I am Shadi, a freelance photographer and a full time father.
I have two beautiful angels, and it is my passion and love for my kids is what started me in photography, and keeps my photography drive going. I bought my first proper camera when my daughter was about to come to this world, I wanted to give her decent photos to look at when she's older, I wanted her to feel beautful, special and proud.
I have no boundaries, I'm too "curious" for my own good. Therefore I cannot define my photography, I'm interested in a lot of things. I do gravitate to shooting action and sports, as well as people. People like my work so I believe I'm on the right track. I think my style came to life because I like to bring out the unusual in the usual, to push it a bit more; how can I make it better and more satisfying ? I keep looking for that moment that we don't see with our naked eye, but somehow it registers in our minds and I believe it's what triggers the emotions in us.
Looking for the best photo drives me crazy, but I love it and I'd do it over and again.
You do have to teach yourself to see things differently, it's difficult, it's consuming, and I have yet to perfect it. You have to teach yourself to be always on, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and I'm not talking about photography only, i am talking about life as well, otherwise you will miss a lot. It's very rewarding.
I won a few awards, and I am thankful that I got appreciated, but that satisfaction never lasts. It doesn't matter, by that time I'm usually looking for my next photo challenge.
